I will conduct a class titled Clouds & Sky in the Landscape Wednesdays, July 5 - August 23 in my Albuquerque studio. The summer monsoon is a perfect time to paint the sky in New Mexico. This 8-week class is an opportunity for participants to leave earthly concerns behind and explore ethereal bliss in regions of spectral light and beauty. Spaces are available. Please see details on the Instruction page.
I have combined imagery from some of my paintings with the music of Constance Demby to convey the stages of a summer cloud buildup in the American Southwest.
The music, “Lotus Opening,” is from Ms. Demby's album titled Set Free (Superliminal Music Publishing) and is used with permission.
